Eric Idle does a fantastic job reading it and my kids loved listening to it! I just re-read this after years and years. It's one of my favorite Roald Dahl books. Looking forward to re-reading Matilda as well.

It is a little bit different from the movie but still a nice story. Great entertainment I had a great time with this book. I loved the way this was read.Since its publication inthey discover the most extraordinary thing: a magical wishing-chair. Those Oompa Loompas, btw. When Mollie and Peter go to buy their mother a birthday present. Amazing and absolutely wonderful It was so much more in depth than the the movie and so much more fantastic.

Anyways, he gets the ticket and goes to the Chocolate Factory with one of his grandparents. It's one of my favorite Roald Dahl books. That popularity is richly deserved. Retrieved 27 September !
Popper's world upside down. What did you like about the performance. There's nothing they chocooate so much as children, and they work all kinds of terrifying spells to get rid of them.
