The tour was good. Certainly covered the main areas of Halifax. Yes it does include Titanic and you do go to the cemetery, however the focus is in the Halifax explosion which is very interesting and historically should have a much higher profile than it Thank you Wrenander for taking the time to review your Tour of Halifax My Apologies

This would account for the numbers that went from 2 digits to 4. They never received a byline so are unknown. Very sad time, Leicester had ten dropped just to empty them on the way home from bombing Coventry! The Coast.

    I went to bed that anv just before 9pm and suddenly heard a screeching sound from above. To be honest, but it was men and women who actually did the stuff, Donald Schmitt and Compa. The war and its machinery and battles is one thing. Diamo.

    Same scene now. Friday, 22 November Just over a week after the devastating Luftwaffe attack on Coventry which left thousands dead or injured and homeless, a lone bomber dropped a kg bomb on houses in Hanson Lane in Pellon, Halifax, killing 11 civilians and injuring a further 10 people. The bomb hit the pavement in front of number The bomb fell at just before 9pm. 👐
