Marlee loved things having to do with numbers so this girl had my heart, a great middle school read and upper elementary. This is an easy one to pass along and I really hope to see kids pick it up and give it a try. This book is an excellent tool to tie multiple subjects together. Very well done, as I love numbers also.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. I got so invested in the story and was lucky enough to be reading the book at the same time as a student. I don't think the author connected this important message as explicitly as she could have. I thought the author did a good job of putting her characters into that situation.
